India Vs West Indies warmup match: India’s West Indies tour begins with an ODI match in Trinidad on 22 July 2022.

The Indian team has reached West Indies after winning the ODIs against England. The tour will feature 3 ODIs as well as 3 T20Is, and it will begin on 22 July 2022. The tour will begin with three ODIs and all games will be played at Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad.

T20Is will take place at three venues: 1st T20I is at the Brian Lara Stadium, Trinidad; 2nd and 3rd T20I at Warner Park, St. Kitts; 4th and 5th T20I in Florida, USA. Both sides will want to make full use of the 5 T20Is, keeping in mind the ICC T20 World Cup.

This team will be coming off a white-ball series played in England. There won’t be any practice games between the sides. West Indies recently played Bangladesh at home and are also coming with plenty of match practice.
For the ODI series against West Indies, Team India has rested their top players.

For this series, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested. Ravindra Jadeja, his deputy, will be leading the Indian side in the ODIs.

Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson can get their chance in the ODIs. The bowling team is still quite young, as the senior players are absent.

The West Indies have selected a 13-man squad for the ODI series. Jason Holder is making his return to the team. The West Indies will strive to improve their performance under the captaincy Nicholas Pooran. This series will see Shai Hope again as the lead batsman.

The team chose Akeal Hosein to join their ranks due to the slow surface. Jayden Seales and Alzarri Joseph will be the pace bowlers.
